Tinja Henry, LMT
Tinja graduated from the Institute of Therapeutic Massage in 2017. Caring for the well-being of others is why she is passionate about what she does.
Tinja's love of Massage Therapy was peaked again after a health crisis, which lead to a re-evaluation of what type of work would bring the sense of joy and fulfillment in her newness of life.
With previous work in Physical Therapy back in the early 1990's, she decided to go back to school to study the area of massage.
Tinja enrolled in the Massage Therapy and Bodywork Program, Bloomfield Campus, of the Institute of Therapeutic Massage.
Continuing Education courses taken include Stone Massage for Head and Neck Pain, Upper Body: Addressing Shoulder and Neck Pain with Massage Therapy, along with several Business and Ethics Courses.
Expanding her knowledge in Medical Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Myofascial Release are some of the areas of additional educational certificates and classes that are in the very near future.
When not massaging, Tinja can be found with her family and fur-babies, eating, laughing, and enjoying one another's company.
